Rooting for Cohen today! He is doing the right thing! I respect his owning his mistakes and admitting he was wrong. That takes maturity and courage! The American people deserve to know what Trump is up to. This is our country, not just Trump and his minions.

I still can't believe how many people have been bamboozled by Trump and the Republican Party. it makes me concerned about our public education system, especially in the rural areas or districts that have trailer parks.
It's still early in the campaigns, but we are keeping an eye on the four congressional (District 15 & 34) candidates from the sidelines. Dist. 15 is intriguing a bit more than 34 because I see it as a tighter race this go round. Incumbent Republican Monica De La Cruz is vulnerable, mainly because she did little during her first term, other than parrot party leaders. Democrat opponent Michelle Vallejo has a real shot. I believe her to be the purer Rio Grande Valleyite of the two. Dist. 34 has well-entrenched Democrat Vicente Gonzalez again fending off the fly known as Mayra Flores. I say she cannot make up the 11,000-vote loss she suffered to Gonzalez in 2022...Stay tuned, however...
In 2020, I voted for President Biden because he wasn't Trump. In 2024, I am voting for Biden because of the fantastic job he has done under the most insane circumstances.
Also voting for Democrats in local congressional races.

There have been a lot of tell-all books about presidents written by insiders who were in the room where it happened. Presidential tell-alls are a whole subgenre in publishing. But I've never seen so many insiders writing negative and sometimes hostile books about presidents they worked for than has come out about Trump. It's telling that some of his most vociferous critics are from people who know him best.
The Republicans haven't offered any policies to benefit ordinary Americans in 40 years. Just tax cuts for the wealthy to drive up the National Debt and more and more and more guns. Oh yeah, and outlawed abortion, removed books from libraries, promoted anti-gay rhetoric, passed voter suppression laws oh and yes, they still want to shut down the government.
The Republican House majority shows their nature and the problem with it. It's just about power so inevitably they turn on each other. If it was about democracy or making democracy work, they would be able to find compromises, but they can't. Really, what they want is chaos so that they can say that democracy doesn't work and that what is needed is a dictator.
We can, at least temporarily, take the wind from their sails by Voting Blue up and down the ballot. They may not go away, but they'll be stymied for awhile.
I would really like to see Donald Trump take the stand and testify under oath. However, he is too much of a coward. He will make some kind of BS excuse and hide.
