Jerry's On Vacation Far Away...

STAFF REPORT

McALLEN, Texas | The popular TV show ended 25 years ago in 1998. Seinfeld, however, is still alive. We mean comedian Jerry Seinfeld, the star of the smarmy sitcom still regaled as one of the most watched ever.

Well, Maria, Jerry is on vacation.

This from a news report: [ Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica are currently enjoying a getaway in Saint-Tropez, South of France. The shirtless TV star, 69, relaxed in board shorts while the author, 51, displayed her incredible physique in a red bikini as they holidayed on a luxury yacht. Jerry showed off his buff body in navy shorts with light blue edging, as he made the most of the outdoor shower on board the vessel. ]

The award-winning show was broadcast by NBC from July 5, 1989 until May 14, 1998, its final episode (one of 180 episodes) watched by an estimated 76 million people. It featured an ensemble of talented actors. Playing Seinfeld love interest was goofy Elaine Benes (Julia Louise Dreyfus), nagging loser George Costanza as best friend (Jason Alexander), annoying apartment neighbor Newman (Wayne Knight), even-more-annoying apartment neighbor Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards) and a number of bit actors all consumed by Seinfeld's world of nothingness.

"The show is about nothing," Jerry Seinfeld had famously said in describing it

As for these vacation shots of the star, well, yeah, no sign of Kramer or Newman.

Thankfully...
